What newspapers can I access through the Library?

Answer

Access to the New York Times is available by creating an account using your upstate.edu email. To sign up, visit https://nytimesineducation.com/access-nyt and follow the prompts. Please note that this will not work if you currently have an active NYT paid subscription.

Access includes unlimited content since 1980, and up to 5 older articles per day. Please note that Upstate's access is only for news, and not for additional content such as word games and puzzles.

If you are having trouble, try reaching out to New York Times’ Customer Care at the bottom right of this page: https://help.nytimes.com/hc/en-us/categories/115002052428-Contact-The-New-York-Times.

We have access to many other newspapers through NewsBank's Access World News collection, including the Syracuse Post-Standard.

You can also search for newspaper content across all of our databases using our Newspapers search. We also encourage you to check with your local public library for more options.
