Library Questions and Answers
What newspapers can I access through the Library?
Answer
Access to the New York Times is available by creating an account using your upstate.edu email. To sign up, visit https://www.nytimes.com/activate-access/edu-access and select Upstate. Please note that this will not work if you currently have an active NYT paid subscription.
Access includes unlimited content since 1980, and up to 5 older articles per day.
If you are having trouble, try reaching out to New York Times’ Customer Care at the bottom right of this page: https://help.nytimes.com/hc/en-us/categories/115002052428-Contact-The-New-York-Times.
We have access to many other newspapers through NewsBank's Access World News collection, including the Syracuse Post-Standard.
You can also search for newspaper content across all of our databases using our Newspapers search. We also encourage you to check with your local public library for more options.
