How do I find a journal to publish my work?

We recommend starting with the journals you follow in your field; check their website to see their submission guidelines, and consider reaching out to their editorial team.
For journals that you’re not familiar with, use caution to make sure that it’s not a predatory journal. Our Writing and Publishing guide has more information on these journals and how to evaluate them.
The guide also has information on some possible APC (article processing charge) discounts available to Upstate authors.
