How do I download a ProQuest eBook?

You will need to use the ProQuest Ebook Central Reader App to view any ProQuest eBooks that you download for offline use (reading online is not affected, nor are individual chapter downloads).
This app is ProQuest's replacement for Adobe Digital Editions software. The main difference is that instead of logging into a third-party account like Adobe, you'll now use an auto-generated passphrase when downloading an eBook in ProQuest.
- On Ebook Central, find the book you would like to download.
- Under Availability, click "Sign in" to view download options if they don't yet show.
- Click "Download book" and select your loan length. You will see a confirmation message, and then a prompt to download the app.
- You can download the app onto up to 6 devices.
If you are downloading the app on an Upstate-managed device, you will likely need IMT or someone with IMT admin credentials to install it for you.
- After installation, you may need to restart your computer before using the app.
